More About Oakwood Christian School

History

Since 1970, Oakwood Christian School has been assisting the home in the responsibility of training the child in a Christ-centered philosophy of life. Oakwood Christian School desires to graduate young men and women who are academically sound, patriotic, socially refined, and so Biblically knowledgeable that they will live their lives based on Biblical principles and, in so doing, discover and do God's will for their lives.

Mission Statement

The Purpose of Oakwood Christian School is to partner with parents to disciple a Christian young person through biblical wisdom into the image of God so as to serve Christ with his life.

This discipleship is done through the use of Bible teaching, chapels, academics, fine arts, sports, and various other activities. Our main goal is to develop Christ-likeness in young people so they will make a difference for Christ.

Oakwood Christian School is not for everyone. It is only for those who can meet the academic standards and abide by all of the requirements which are set forth by the school.
